Precision Hunter I - Shooting School
General Curriculum
- We will refine your prone shooting skills and concentrate on repeated shot to shot precision utilizing our suppressed .22LR trainer Rifles
- Basic MOA/MIL- various reticles and ballistics covered
- You will shoot from multiple stages of steel poppers including: prone rear bag, sitting utilizing natural terrain features and logs, standing utilizing trees and tripod shooting and aid of your trekking poles or backpack
- Precision grouping exercises
- Rifle cleaning /maintenance
- Your rifle precise zeroing
- Shooter-spotter communication, ideal training for hunting partners
- Wind reading-wind holds using the Kestrel Elite
- Multiple target - follow up shot excerise
- High angle - Low angle shooting
- Shooting primarily our school rifles and your personal rifle to verify zero
- Debriefing and final question and answer
Precision Hunter I is a 1 day school designed to introduce shooters to Long Range Precision Shooting and a better understanding of their equipment. Students will fire 20-40 rounds of ammunition from their rifle for grouping and perfecting rifle zero. In addition to 100+ rounds from our suppressed .22LR school trainer and centerfire rifles (ammunition provided). This is a hunter focused course for precision and confidence with making accurate longer shots. The school is a balance of classroom application and hands-on shooting. The class site is remote and weather conditions will be unpredictable, we highly encourage students to come prepared for changing conditions and bring anything needed to be more comfortable. The cost is $625 per student/6 students max per class with 2 instructors. Observers are welcome for $175 per person. This is a fun and challenging course, with an emphasis on proper form and technique designed to create repeated, highly accurate shooting skills. We provide drinks, snacks and lunch for the class. 2025 class dates are 4/26/2025 ( 1 spot available), 5/24/2025 and 9/27/2025 priority is given to students attending both Precision Hunter I and Long Range Hunter II.
Long Range Hunter II - Shooting School

This class is designed to advance the shooter to become more comfortable with their rifle, equipment and environmental factors to make ethical longer shots. We highly recommend our Precision Hunter I course for a better understanding of the fundamentals we will cover. Students will need a rifle and 100 rounds of ammunition capable of consistent sub 1 MOA grouping, paired with a scope designed to be dialed to targets beyond 1000 yards. This course will be a full day in a remote setting with a focus is on practical engagement of targets from 300 to beyond 1200 yards. We will cover advanced classroom curriculum between firing sessions with drinks, snacks and lunch provided. Weather conditions will be unpredictable and we highly encourage students to come prepared for changing conditions and bring anything needed to be more comfortable. Premium Long Range rental rifles and ammunition are available if needed. The cost is $675 per student/6 students max per class with 2 instructors. Observers are welcome for $200 per person. 2025 class dates 4/27/2025 (1 spot available), 5/25/2025, 9/28/2025 limited to 6 students and 3 observers. Priority for scheduling will be given to students attending Precision Hunter I.
