Jeff’s long range shooting course is straight up awesome. After purchasing a rifle from Jeff last year, I spent a lot of time in the field trying to learn shooting at distance on my own (by reading, watching videos, and overall trial/error method). Admittedly, my first round hit probability was probably somewhere in the 50% range with targets between 400-600 yards, and much less in the 600-1k yard range (not the kind of odds that instill any level of confidence in a hunting scenario). During the course, I learned various techniques for ‘correct form’ and methods to employ for what I would consider a solid base for precision rifle operation/use. I was fortunate to shoot mostly under the helpful and wise instruction of Wyatt (second instructor) and had an awesome time getting to practice what we learned. Jeff and Wyatt corrected and explained all the faulty data inputs I had been implementing in my ballistic calculator and showed us how to utilize other various tools available to us. We were introduced to the art of reading wind via mirage (a skill I now realize will take me years to learn and master). By the time we began to engage targets beyond the 400 yard mark, I was successful in most of my attempted ‘first round hits’ (personal goal), and by the end of the second day, I was comfortable and successful in engaging animal silhouette targets between the 700-900 yard range with first round hits to the vital organ areas! Targets between 1k-1500 yards were a challenge due to the turbulent air conditions, but that is what made it fun to me. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in improving their rifle shooting abilities. There was absolutely no stress as far as feeling like I was too far behind or inept, and both Jeff and Wyatt made it feel more like a hang-out session with old friends. With Jeffs Long Rang Shooting School, I can attest that both my precision and accuracy has greatly been improved upon, and I look forward to taking any follow-up courses that Jeff might provide in the future. Mahalo for the fun time!

Tyson, it was a pleasure having you in the class.

I recently attended the Guru’s long range shooting school and enjoyed an amazing shooting experience.
The instruction and training I received was well delivered and very easy to implement..
Having the opportunity to receive feedback from my spotting partner and instructor resulted in immediate shot placement
improvement.
The suppressed 6.5 Creedmoor I rented was a tack driver and a pleasure to shoot. 1000 yard hits became routine on the first day.
I finish out the course by joining the 1 mile club using a Guru’built 7 PRC with a first shot hit. What a thrill!
The range was absolutely incredible. The variety of targets afforded opportunity to explore a multitude of shooting positions and environmental conditions.
I left this class very pleased with the skills I gained and honed.
I have much better understanding of my equipment and the tools necessary to consistently and effectively place shots at 1000+ yards.
The Guru provided a world class experience.
I could not be more pleased with my experience and highly recommend this long range shooting experience to everyone!
Thanks Jeff, I’m looking forward to attending another class.

WHAT A FUN 2 DAYS! Jeff and Wyatt and Drew really know what shooting at a mile away is and how to do it! They provide an incredible experience with class room time and more range time sending projectiles out there at several stations, high and low from 100 yds to a MILE away! Just amazing how they teach and help you understand how to read your reticle with mirage/windage over the landscape and distance. We shot at life size targets of Wolves, Elk, Deer, Bear, Antelope, and and 36″ plate at 1760 yards or 5,280 FEET away! Its really cool how Jeff’s life size targets are colored naturally so you can see how they look in their real environment and how it can be a little hard to see them… His target animals have moving “vitals” (parts) that move when hit as well as lights that blink and acknowledge an impact or hit on the target.
And when you hit your targets at 1000 yards and/or A MILE you can earn one of these esteemed prized awards that will be reason for all your buddies at the cigar lounge to buy your drinks… lol
The Food and drinks provided were awesome, Wyatt’s wife is a great cook!
But i just can’t say enough how great Jeff and Wyatt and Drew are with their combined knowledge and experience at making this course so valuable if you like poking animals that always seem to be out of the “easy” range.
Really enjoyed my class! Thank you.

Jeff and Wyatt are top notch instructors. It is incredibly well organized and very educational. Jeff and his crew run a tight ship and keep everyone on track. You gradually progress through lectures and small caliber training to large caliber, long range shots on a well designed shooting range. Over the course of two days you see the skill and comfort of each shooter rapidly increase. It’s clear that Jeff and Wyatt love seeing their students improve and they take great pride in building the skills and confidence of each shooter. On top of all that breakfast and lunch are provided by Jessica who cooked and delivered amazing meals out to the field.
I really can’t say enough good things about Jeff and his crew. If you have any questions about rifles, shooting, hunting, or gear. Jeff is your guy.

Jeff is a subject matter expert in his field. He delivers outstanding long range shooting instruction. His instruction has prepared me for an upcoming hunt where the shots are longer than average and has given me the confidence to make a first round hit. The range is well laid out with high quality steel targets. Thank you Jeff !
